Well this isn't good.

I thought I'd be more on top of things but maybe I got a bit overconfident. This post is a day late, I haven't been doing my rounds and I need to get back to studying.

This is what I looked like yesterday before I passed out.

And no, I'm not kidding. My head tilted back and I was out cold in a chair with a textbook in my lap, laptop with blogger to my left, and my desktop with more work in front. Clearly I wasn't going to get much more work done so when I woke up I dragged my sorry butt to bed.

I might be getting sick. It also might be Theresa's fault but you didn't hear that from me.

Even when you're full of germs.

I have a midterm, an assignment, and another quiz due for Thursday. I need to get back to studying so proper post Friday and I'll hopefully visit everyone else's blogs by then.

Yay, University.

I'm Not Enjoying the New Blogger Format

In my tired stupor I managed to post and publish something but now Blogger has gone and deleted it.

This is just great. I'm not going to bother retyping it, I'm going to bed and I'll figure out something later. I guess this counts as a post that I didn't make on time but it's Blogger's fault so I'm ok with that.

Yeah, I'm still tinkering with the new format. Not fun to come back to your blog and find everyone asking "Where's the video?" on your last post.

In better news, all my finals are done and I just have papers left so I'll finally be able to do my rounds in the Blogosphere again. I'm excited to see what everyone else has been up to lately.

Now if you'll excuse me, sleep time.

EDIT: Great, now Blogger is claiming I have comments to publish but when I go to moderate them the screen is blank. Hopefully this issue resolves itself soon.

Time for an Upgrade?

Before I start today's post I just want to mention that there are a few blogs out there that provide the following message when I try to access them:

No Profile Available, blah blah blah.

I'm not sure what the reason for this is. Do I blame Blogger for derping up or did someone change some privacy settings on their blog? Maybe I'm the derp in this situation because I'm doing something wrong. Either way, if you notice the lack of comments from me lately it's due to one of the above reasons.

Onto today's post.

So I've had this blog for almost half a year. I have a fairly decent following and I make enough from advertisements that I'm able to cash out cheques. And thus the next logical step would be to get my own domain.

And therein lies the problem.

Pretty much.

It just seems to me this is what all the successful and popular blogs are doing. Supposedly it boosts traffic so that's always nice. I mean who doesn't want more people coming to their blog?

But of course you kind of want your blog to look a bit more dressed up before you show more people.

Thus, I need to make my blog look nicer. Seriously, I've maintained the background of this thing from some default Blogger design since the beginning. Same with my header. I need something unique and interesting to look at.

Or sparkly.

So any ideas, suggestions, or guides would be great. Keep in mind the level of difficulty that these things. I am in no way a Photoshop wizard (my preferred method of manipulating images is MSPaint) but I am willing to learn.
