I'm Not Enjoying the New Blogger Format

In my tired stupor I managed to post and publish something but now Blogger has gone and deleted it.

This is just great. I'm not going to bother retyping it, I'm going to bed and I'll figure out something later. I guess this counts as a post that I didn't make on time but it's Blogger's fault so I'm ok with that.

Yeah, I'm still tinkering with the new format. Not fun to come back to your blog and find everyone asking "Where's the video?" on your last post.

In better news, all my finals are done and I just have papers left so I'll finally be able to do my rounds in the Blogosphere again. I'm excited to see what everyone else has been up to lately.

Now if you'll excuse me, sleep time.

EDIT: Great, now Blogger is claiming I have comments to publish but when I go to moderate them the screen is blank. Hopefully this issue resolves itself soon.

  10. Brotip: always use the HTML editor (after setting it to just convert linebreak, so you don't have to type <br/> yourself). It's twenty times more awesome than the WYSIWYG editor.

  12. Weird... I haven't had any problems with the new format so far. Unless there's a new NEW format that I don't know about! *GASP*

  13. Well, that's why I use blogger in draft. I get a sneak peak at what blogger is planning to throw at us and can get used to it in my own time.

  14. I've been using the new one for awhile, there's some I missed from the old one, but I got kinda used to it. Never had anything disappear though

  17. That sucks, I haven't had that happen to me yet. Usually it auto-saves a draft but sorry that has to be frustrating!

  19. Woot! That all your finals are done. That must feel great.

It's taken some adjustment ... the new blogger. It always does. They'll update again soon and something else will fubar.

  21. So wait, Blogger didn't even save a copy for you? That sucks, later on, I'll manage to like the new format also.

  22. I wished they'd just left blogger alone...

  23. Wordpress has been having a very similar problem lately- copy and paste before publish has become a habit of mine.

  24. Give it a week or two and the new format will really grow on you. I still don't like the color scheme for it but whatever, it works a lot better. Glad you got the hard parts done with, hope to see more of you around!

  28. Yeah, I'm holding onto the old blogger layout as long as I can....

  29. You can change it back if you're really unhappy with it?
I was none to keen of the new layout either, so I just edited it out.

  30. Stupid Blogger. If I had a better alternative to Blogger, then I would move the blog. But now, it's nothing except Blogger...

  31. Blogger's new interface seems to be kicking up a fuss for a lot of users. Hope it gets itself sorted out soon!

  32. Blogger's new interface is such a pain, I switched back to old interface. And yet random deletion of posts are happening everywhere. Good to know that your finals are over.

  33. It's the same ol' story again: one step forward, two steps back....

  34. I've been using the new blogger interface for a while, but now it is not allowing my scheduled posts to post. UGH. I'm not alone, but the fix doesn't seem to be coming fast enough (if it is even in the works!!). So I feel your pain~

  35. There's lots of pre set layouts you can use

  36. This is why I type my blogs up on a word document and just copy paste. :P

  37. I don't use blogger's interface much. I use an external program instead.

  38. Blogger's now UI is atrocious, which is why I still use the old one.

  39. Yeah, I got my share of problems as well. I mean, I stopped blogging for more than a month and then when I return, everything looks new. I hope I get accustomed to this new interface soon.
